What PLAB 2 mode changes on the platform
On the PLAB 2 track you see a curated high-yield set (not the entire 1,800+ multi-exam library). Stations run on the real clock: 8 minutes with about 1.5 minutes reading, and a warning bell at 2 minutes remaining. There is no examiner viva. Full mocks are 16 scored clinical stations + 2 rest stations.

Station Scenarios and AI Attempts
Browse by specialty, station type or Recent Themes. Voice runs use a voice AI Attempt; text runs use a text AI Attempt. Text is typically more plentiful on standard plans — use it to warm up structure, and save voice for full spoken run-throughs. Free signup includes 3 voice + 3 text.

Mock Exams and Session Review
Do not wait until you “feel ready.” Sit your first full mock once frameworks and a slice of Start Here are done, then roughly weekly, ramping to 2–3 in the final fortnight. After every station, treat every “not met” competency as a to-do, not a grade. More detail: PLAB 2 mock exam guide.

No checklist guarantees a pass. Candidates who can tick these usually walk in ready:
- Two to three consecutive full mocks at or above the pass line (including a Recent Themes Mock).
- No lagging domain on Analytics.
- Frameworks automatic from memory, out loud.
- Start Here anchors done; Examiner Checklists clear on your hardest stations.
- The format feels boring — reading time, the bell, the reset between patients.
